St. Mary's School is located on Aliganj Road, just 2 kms. from the Kashipur Railway Station. It is an English Medium Co-educational School which builds character through education. Why Choose us

  • The Principal reserves to herself, the right to refuse admission to any child, without furnishing any reasons.
  • The School will allot the section to the students. No request for change in sections will be entertained.
  • No pupil will be admitted to the school without a Transfer Certificate from the last school which he/she attended.
  • For withdrawal of a pupil from the school, at least one calendar month notice must be given in writing, otherwise, one calendar month fees, in lieu of notice, will be charged.
  • The Manager, acting through the Principal, reserves the right of resigning the charge of any pupil who is deemed unsatisfactory. In such a case, the Principal is not bound to give any reason.
  • The School Management, acting through the Principal, will request the withdrawal of a pupil, who fails for two consecutive years in the same class.
  • The names of pupil who remain absent without leave for two school weeks, shall be struck off the rolls. for more information
  • Parents are requested not to visit the classes of their children. Should a parent wish to meet a teacher, he or she may do so, only with the permission of the Principal/Office during the teacher's free time, or during the 'O' Pd.
  • The school is answerable only to the parents of the students. Complaints from relatives or any other sources will not be entertained.
  • Parents must make their own transport arrangements, to ensure that their child comes and goes from School on time.
  • Parents are requested to ensure that their wards attend school for the whole day, on the days when class tests are scheduled, and not, for the duration of the test only.
  • Exemption from any Formative or Summative Assessment will be given to a child, only in the case of illness, or some other emergency. Should a child seek exemption, the parents are requested to personally bring in the application. In the case of illness, a medical certificate must accompany the application. more information
  • Students are prepared for the Central Board of Secondary Education (Class 12).
  • The School provides for the study of the following subjects:-
  • Class 10 : English Language, English Literature, Hindi Language, Hindi Literature, Mathematics, Social Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computers , Art, Craft and Physical Education.
  • English Core, Economics, Accountancy, Business Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Physical Education, Computer Science.
  • The school academic year has two terms. There will be an examination at the end of each term and a progress report issued. Besides, there will be class tests in each subject, in each term. The marks of these tests and the examination will be considered for promotion to the next class.
  • The minimum pass marks for each subject is 33% .
  • In Classes Nursery to 5, a student must pass in three compulsory subjects- English, Hindi and Maths and have an aggregate of 33% for promotion.
  • In Classes 6 to 10, a student must pass in five compulsory subjects -English, Hindi, Maths, Science and Social Science and have an aggregate of 33% for promotion. For More Information
